Once you arrive at your consultation and the paperwork has been completed, you will be taken to one of our consultation room where you will change into a gown. Your medical information will be reviewed and any additional tests deemed necessary will be discussed. We will perform a breast exam, take breast measurements and pre-operative photographs. You will then be allowed to get dressed so the remainder of the visit you will be more comfortable, and you will be better able to listen and concentrate. We understand that most people who come to visit are somewhat concerned about their appearance, and we do the best we can to keep you uncovered as briefly as possible.
Dr Whitlock will discuss your personal recommendations and options. All risks and possible complications will also be addressed. You will have ample to ask any questions that you may have. We want you to be comfortable with any decisions you make, have reasonable expections and understand the risks.
Finally you will get to meet with our patient coordinator. After getting your quote, you will have the opportunity to reserve a date and time for your surgery.
